Crystal Bowl Base

I was contacted by a friend of mine "Dan"who works at one of our communities largest manufacturing facilities in town, One of their overseas plants is celebrating 20 year celebration and Dan asked if I could make them some kind of base that they could set this crystal "Waterford" bowl on as a gift.
This is made of Walnut  and then several coats of polyurethane. The center was rounded by using a template so router could follow. Used felt as a soft base to set the bowl on. On the bottom side are some rubber feet so the display would not slide off the shelf. The plate was made by a local trophy engraver.
Customer was very happy with the results...
